As we approach our 2 year anniversary here at Heavenly Buds, we can’t help but look back in gratitude at all that we have accomplished so far. While we still have so much more to do, we have truly made some great strides here in Washington, thanks to the support of our amazing partners in this journey, like Higher Leaf!
Heavenly Beginnings

In April 2015 we planted our first crop at our Tier-2 i-502 indoor facility in Longview, Washington, and in July of that same year we had our inaugural harvest.
Serendipitously our first sale was on July 4th, 2015. What a way to celebrate our independence and freedom to bring this amazing plant to the market.
Since then we’ve grown to a team of almost 30 people, produce and process over 30 different products including flower, concentrates, and pre-rolls that are available in almost 40 retail locations across Washington State.
Clean Green Certified Labels
This April we became Clean Green Certified - the closest thing to organic you can get in the cannabis industry. We are one of the few i-502 producer/processors in the state of Washington to have medically approved cannabis by the WSLCB and Department of Health. We are all about top of the line appearance, fragrance, flavor & potency, truly on the highest of top shelves.

The future is bright and we are excited for what is to come for us in both recreational and medical cannabis! We recently began pressing our own rosin, are experimenting with tissue culturing, and have some fresh product ideas and partnerships that will be hitting the market this year. We recently launched our marketing company, Heavenly Brands Marketing, so be on the lookout for Heavenly Buds merchandise, pipes, vape pens, and more.
We continue to passionately focus on our mission of nurturing our products and environment, while cultivating long lasting relationships with our partners, consumers, and community. We are forever grateful to all who have joined us on this journey of advocating a lifestyle of serenity and happiness, enhanced by legal cannabis!

Without our amazing leadership team, there would be no Heavenly Buds. We are lucky to have a team with varied backgrounds and passions that come together as a force to be reckoned with!
Chad Ferrel is our Master Grower, and he is the mastermind behind all of our strains like Master Yoda, Bruce Banner #3, Obama and more. Chad was raised in Grants Pass, OR and has been a Washington State resident since 1999. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for Horizon Airlines for 10 years and is currently seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. His passion, knowledge, experience and a fine eye for detail has helped Chad produce some of the highest quality flowers and concentrates in the medical community for over 7 years. We are lucky to have him and wouldn’t have the top shelf products we have on the shelves if it was not for Chad and his grow team.
Windy Roberts is one of our cannabis queens - we are proud to have a team full of amazing female entrepreneurs like Windy. As a local girl from Yakima (the Palm Springs of Washington!), Windy knows Washington like the back of her hand, which makes her an invaluable addition to our sales team. She has a Degree in Business Management and has extensive experience in Human Resources. In the last 5+ years Windy has had major success growing top shelf cannabis and has gained substantial knowledge and techniques in creating cannabis-infused edibles and products for the medical community (Coming Soon to Recreational Stores!).
Jenni Hubenthal is another leading lady we are lucky to have on the leadership team. Jenni has been a native of Washington State for almost 30 years. She has held many jobs in her lifetime but one constant has always been a love of nature and growing plants. Jenni served as a police officer for the Vancouver Police Department for 13 years before retiring to enter the Cannabis Industry. While working as a police officer, she ran a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm growing organic fruits, vegetables and herbs, and also maintained horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. Jenni keeps our facility running like a well-oiled machine, and recently branched off to start Heavenly Brands, our marketing company.
Miguel Ramos is our Beast from the East! Miguel went to college at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, with a Minor in Mathematics. Miguel has over 10 years of experience working in the Business to Business Sales and Marketing Industry with multiple Fortune 500 companies. Miguel is also a successful real estate investor and has numerous years of experience as an entrepreneur. You can find Miguel out building relationships with our retail partners as part of our sales team, and also working on new products and partnerships.
Michelle Martinez brings her outstanding talents over from the islands of Hawaii. (Yes, she actually moved from Hawaii to Washington State!) Michelle has over 20 years of Catering, Operations, Sales and Hospitality experience. She has also owned and managed a successful catering business for over a decade. As of this month (May 2017) we are thrilled to announce her as CEO of Heavenly Buds. We are excited for the direction she will take the company as we continue to establish ourselves as an industry leader in the premium cannabis market.
